I feel so lucky to be discovering hidden gems of our country's heritage and history through my Sunday sketching with #urbansketcherspune.
Today's sketch was at the Pune Prarthana Samaj built in 1870 and designated as heritage structure. It has its roots in the Brahmo Samaj and was founded by Justice Mahadeo Govind Ranade. The motto and logo of the Samaj is to 'Humanize, Equalize, Spiritualize'.
